A huge thank you to the North Carolina Go Grant and the Asheville Astronomical Club for an unforgettable night under the stars! Thanks to their generosity, students from the MMS Outdoor Club had the incredible opportunity to explore the beauty of the night sky through high-powered telescopes.
From Venus, Jupiter, and Mars to breathtaking nebulas and countless stars, our students experienced the universe's wonders up close. And to top it all off, they even made s’mores around the fire!

We are so proud of these 33 kids for making a four-mile hike after school in a minimal amount of time. We hiked 4 miles and climbed about 1200 feet...before the descent back down. Some of these kids had never done anything like this before. They all did awesome.
